ROAD INFORMATION
January 10 - 16, 2026
SR.240 and Hagen Rd. - Nighttime work is continuing on paving operations. There may be nighttime delays or detours in place for this work. Drivers should use extra caution when traveling through nighttime work zones. Project questions or concerns should be directed to WSDOT.
Roadway Construction on Dallas Rd. between Ava Way and Trowbridge Blvd. – Starting in mid-April, work will begin along Dallas Rd. between Ava Way and Trowbridge Blvd. This work is for a developer-driven project to construct roundabouts at the intersections of Dallas Rd. with Trowbridge Blvd. and Ava Way, as well as widening along Dallas Rd. between the two intersections. This is an ongoing project with an expected completion date in Spring 2026.
The roundabouts are currently in Winter Shutdown condition. All legs of both intersections are open for vehicular traffic and operating as regular roundabouts. Contractor may be on-site at times to perform minor improvements. Please continue to drive safely and obey the rules of the road.
Gage & Leslie Intersection Improvements - the project involves completing the pedestrian pushbuttons installation at the Gage Boulevard & Leslie Road Intersection.
Thayer Drive Streetlight Replacement – this project is still on going and will continue into Spring 2026.
South George Washington Way (between Comstock St & Aaron Dr) - There will be periodic lane closures starting the first week of September.
Columbia Point Marina Shoreline Retaining Wall Repair – starting the week of Jan 5th, this project includes for the demolition of an existing, failed basalt column shoreline retaining wall and replacement with a new, mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) precast concrete modular block wall. The work includes appurtenant traffic control, wall drains, backfill, handrailing, asphalt and concrete pavement surface restoration.
