Police Records

The Police Records Specialists are the primary resource for official police information and document management. We serve as the main point of contact for the community and law enforcement, ensuring the timely and reliable delivery of accurate data.

Using local, state, and nationwide databases, our team manages and maintains critical records such as wanted persons, protection orders, and stolen property.

Services provided include customer service, case records management, processing concealed pistol license applications, providing fingerprinting services for Richland residents, and administering project guardian documentation.

Police Public Records

The City of Richland's Public Records Disclosure Policy outlines the procedures the City will follow to ensure that obligations of the Washington Public Records Act, Chapter 42.56 RCW, are fulfilled.

The Police Department Public Records team is responsible for fulfilling public records requests and requests for access to records as a matter-of-right.

To submit a public records request, please visit the City’s Public Records Request Page.
