Code Enforcement

The Richland Police Department's Code Enforcement team works with the community to maintain a safe and beautiful community.  Our primary goal is to gain voluntary compliance with the Richland Municipal Codes through education and communication.  We believe that by working together, we can maintain and improve the quality of life for everyone in our community.


How to Report Code Violations

If you have a concern about a potential code violation, you can report it using one of the following methods:

  • Submit a Service Request Online - Use the link below to submit your request online. This is the quickest way to submit a detailed report.

  • Download and Complete a Complaint Form - You can download the form by using the link below. Email your completed form to codeenforcement@richlandwa.gov or visit the Richland Police Department to submit your form in person, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  • Call the Code Enforcement Reporting Line - Leave a detailed message at (509) 942-7739.  Please be sure to include the location and description of violation, along with your contact information.
