UPDATE 4:39: Crews have identified a faulty switch cabinet and are in route. They anticipate restoration in approximately 30 mins. UPDATE 5:09: Hang tight as crews are beginning to re-energize.
The map of the outage can be viewed at richlandwa.gov/PowerOutages. It involves mostly central/north Richland from McMurray to Williams and then Thayer west to GWay.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: there is a power outage currently in North Richland. Crews are investigating now and we will update you as soon as we have additional information.

Radar Speed Trailers
The presence of a radar speed trailer can help reduce neighborhood speeding. It is a proactive and inexpensive tool to help educate speeding motorists become aware of their own violations. They have been shown to be very effective in reducing speeds in residential areas.
You can request a speed trailer in your neighborhood by emailing the traffic unit directly, by clicking the button below. Your request must include a contact name and telephone number to arrange a schedule for installation.
Please allow up to (2) weeks for contact and installation. Speed trailers are deployed in two week increments and have an assigned waitlist.
Traffic Complaints
We recognize that one of the top concerns from community members is traffic on neighborhood streets. This program allows community members to alert us to potential traffic problems occurring within the City of Richland. Such complaints could include drivers who repeatedly disobey a stop sign at an intersection, failure to slow down in posted school zones, or routine speeding in a particular area.
