It is a privilege to serve as a member of the Richland Police Department and an honor to be the Chief. My policing philosophy focuses on problem-solving in conjunction with our residents and business community. The Richland Police Department serves as the principal enforcement arm of our city, and I recognize the great responsibility that comes with that authority. Each member of the Richland Police Department provides service through a commitment to our values of teamwork, integrity, and excellence and is dedicated to serving those who need our assistance and is tough on those who commit crimes within Richland.

Our department is made up of caring and courageous professionals who are committed to treating all with dignity and respect. Our staff recognizes the importance of and appreciates the strong support from the community, City leadership, and the City Council. We strive to remain a respected and professional police agency through a commitment to ethical standards, effective training, cultivating strong relationships with those we serve as well as allied agencies, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
