Rebates and Low-Interest Loans

Richland Energy Services offers rebates and low-interest loans to qualified customers for energy efficient HVAC equipment and weatherization upgrades to insulation, windows, doors, and hybrid water heaters. Contact one of our Authorized Contractors to learn what rebates are available for your home.

Customers can select a rebate or apply for a low-interest loan, in which case the rebate will be deducted from the loan balance.

NEW DIY Hybrid Water Heater Program

A DIY Hybrid Water Heater Rebate (HPWH) Program is available to all qualified Richland residents. This program offers a $1,800 instant rebate when purchasing a Heat Pump Water Heater through GenPac, Inc.

Find more water heater information, HPWH costs and program terms. Installation can be performed by the homeowner or an Authorized Contractor, who will install the HPWH and answer HPWH questions.

The City of Richland offers special low-interest financing on HPWH loans up to $5,000.

Income-Qualified Energy Efficiency Program

Richland Energy Services offers Rebate and Loan Programs specifically designed for income-qualified (I-Q) families who want to upgrade their residential homes with energy efficient heat pumps, insulation, windows and doors and hybrid water heaters.
