Home Electrification & Appliance Rebates (HEAR)
City of Richland has been selected as a recipient for the Washington State Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates (HEAR) Program.
The grant award was based on the goals and priorities from the State’s FY25-27 Capital Budget Sec. 1012.
The communication and recognition of the Washington Climate Commitment Act will follow the guidelines as found in the Special Terms and Conditions: Acknowledgement of Climate Commitment Act Funding. This includes the requisite statement:
“The State Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates Program is supported with funding from Washington’s Climate Commitment Act. The CCA supports Washington’s climate action efforts by putting cap-and-invest dollars to work reducing climate pollution, creating jobs, and improving public health. Information about the CCA is available at www.climate.wa.gov.”
Eligible Participants
- Licensed Adult Family Homes that meet state requirements. Priority is based on applicant eligibility, type and age of existing equipment.
- Low-income Residential households with incomes below 80% of Area Median Income. Priority is based on eligibility, energy burden, with additional focus on residents within two census tracts 5010600 and 5010500.
