Proposal: Expansion of an existing substation. Proposed expansion is in conjunction with the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) Tri-Cities Reinforcement Project. The Thayer Substation is a 115kV – 12.47 kV substation housing three power transformers, three metal-clad switchgears, equipment foundations, control house, and new ties to the 115 kV transmission line and will be enclosed by an eight (8) foot tall non-conductive fence for safety and security. The expansion will replace one transformer/metal-clad bank.

Proposal: This project will provide reconfiguration construction of the main apron at the Richland Airport to accommodate larger aircraft parking and better utilize available space in the main apron area. The project involves apron pavement expansion of 21,510 sq.ft., and a reconfiguration of existing pavement markings and tie-downs to create 4 new larger aircraft parking positions. The project also includes the reconstruction of existing relatively thin asphalt on the existing apron, to provide adequate pavement strength for aircraft.
