Ages 18+. Salsa 1.0 is tailored for beginner salseros or individuals who have taken fewer than 3 months of salsa classes. Whether you’re looking to learn from scratch or refresh your skills, this class equips you with the foundational knowledge necessary to confidently hit the dance floor at any salsa club worldwide. Covering essential footwork, technique, spot turns, and left turns, Salsa 1.0 serves as the prerequisite for Salsa 1.5, where partner work is introduced. No partner or prior experience is required to join this class.
